Our veterinary team in Colorado Springs welcomes you and your pet!
Here at St. Francis Animal Hospital, we always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Colorado Springs.
New Patient Welcome Packs
At the first appointment with your pet, we are eager to welcome you and committed to giving you the information that you will need to have a happy and healthy pet. We give you an information and recommendations packet that you can keep and refer back to, a folder to keep all of your pet’s records, and a gift bag.
Online Pet Records
Through ePetHealth, clients may access their pet’s medical history as well as update information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is particularly helpful after hours for submitting the information to boarding facilities, and when traveling out of area with your pet.
We are proud to offer a Mentor program that allows young people interested in veterinary medicine the chance to observe and learn from our doctors and nurses for a two hour time period. Depending on the day, one might shadow a doctor in exam rooms and even watch a surgery, anesthesia or dental cleaning!
We love caring for animals and their people. The highest compliment we can receive is the referral of your friends and family. In appreciation of your referral, we give you $15 off your next visit and $15 off the first visit for those that you refer!
Our mission includes not only helping animals, but improving the lives of those around us through donations and support for local community groups. Some of these groups are the Multiple Sclerosis Alliance, St. Baldrick’s for children with cancer, Woodmen Valley Missions groups, Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center, Divine Redeemer Catholic School, American Cancer Society, Tessa Foundation, Avon for Breast Cancer, and various area schools. Not only do we do our part to keep pet care affordable, but we contribute assistance to numerous other animal help organizations in addition to our very own St. Francis Memorial Fund. Our fund is a small reserve for the veterinary care of sick and injured animals in need of financial assistance. Other organizations that we have partnered with include Safe Place for Pets, Harley’s Hope Foundation, Wild Forever Foundation, Saint Animal Rescue, Pikes Peak Pet Pantry, 9News Pet Check and the The Old Dog House.
