In
Memory of Elizabeth Siegrist
and
all of those we have lost
along the way.
Elizabeth, our beloved certified veterinary technician,
passed away from our world on July 24, 2007 at the age of 31. She graduated from Bel-Rae Veterinary
Institute in 2001. Since then she had worked with emergency hospitals, a
mobile veterinary surgeon, and various small animal hospitals. Her main
focus, however, had been starting a family with her husband, Dan.
They were blessed with two boys, Stephen and Justin. Along with her family,
she lived with her five cats (named Cassie, Maggie, Bart, Paco
and Simon) as well as one blue-and-gold Macaw named Mortimyree. When not
at work, her hobbies were scrap booking, jewelry making, sewing, card making and
playing POGO online.

Elizabeth was our morning star. We remember her
contagious smile and her uncontainable joy for life. She was our constant
reminder of the lighter side of things. Her passion for animals and other people
is her hallmark. The world as a whole and those individuals that were
blessed to know her are less without her. May her spirit live on in all of
our hearts and in the remembrances of every one we have lost along the way.
Elizabeth, we love you and miss you.
