Barks at Briargate
2011 Title Sponsor
Our hospital was once
again the proud title sponsor of the 6th annual Bark at Briargate event on August 20th, 2011.
We enjoyed meeting with our local community and sharing
what makes us one of the leading small animal hospitals in Colorado Springs.
As usual, we also gave away bandannas, frisbees, yummy treats and cold drinks for
the dogs and their families. We enjoyed scheduling many new clients and
pets for their first exam!

Dr. Kaufer presents
at Senior Key
Services
On April 15th, 2011, Dr. Kaufer and Sheri Gibson, a
psychologist and UCCS doctoral candidate, gave a presentation to the Silver Key
Services. The topic was "Appreciating the Role of Pets in the Lives of Older
Adults". There was a good turnout and a lot of interest in this sometimes
forgotten issue. If you are in need of resources specifically for older
adults, please contact us at 282-3443. We are happy to give you a complete
resource list.
